Artist Statement

There are two forms of art therapy seen in my work; what I create as a solo artist to share with others and what I create with people to make a connection in a community. Each form is a tale of transformation. These transformations are brought to life using an array of mediums either individually or collectively.


Graduated cum laude from Marygrove College in 2016 with a BA and a concentration in art therapy/psychology. Dedicated to social practice. Art therapy based projects include: The Puerto Rico workshop, Art Adventures at The Children Center of Detroit, co- facilitated an art therapy based praticum called "I Am", and lead facilitator for a community mural project called "Together We Rise". Currently working as an at-risk youth counselor at Vista Maria with the opportunity to create individual and collective art infused/art therapy based group projects amongst residents
